CSA Basic First Aid TrainingSaturday, May 31, 2025 Class Starts at 9:00 AM BASIC FIRST AID (EMERGENCY FIRST AID)The Basic First Aid course meets the requirement of the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education and CSA Standards. Basic First Aid: Includes CPR-A/AED certification (Adult CPR). Basic First Aid is for people who require awareness, knowledge and skills of first aid. Skills include: emergency treatment of injuries and illness, victim assessment, CPR, choking, allergies, managing severe bleeding, heart attack and stroke. Mental health emergencies are now part of the course.
Length of the CourseThe Basic First Aid course is 6.5 hours long, not including breaks. We will have complimentary coffee tea or hot chocolate on!
